Just a quick update on next years programme, we now have a Marshall for Henley on Thames (Easter Rally) on line booking now available. We are still looking for an assistant for Stoke Bruerne, Mayday Rally. Please get in touch if you think you can help. Thanks Gary Rally Sec.
As you may know, the venue for Next years Easter Rally, Batemans Brewery had double booked, so I have rolled our booking over to 2020. I have been lucky enough to be able book Swiss Farm at Henley On Thames for next Easter, we do however need a Marshall for this Rally, as they can only hold it provisionally until the end of October. This really is a wonderful venue, good field, a short walk into Henley and stunning flying displays by the many Red Kites that live in the area. If you think you can help, please get in touch, it would be a shame not to have an Easter Rally next year. Thanks from Gary Brewin, Rally Sec.
We have a couple of taken rallies, but still require assistant Marshalls. One in particular is the Mayday Bank Holiday at Stoke Bruerne, Nhants. Greg Clark has very kindly offered to run it, & is looking for help. If you think you can step in, or just would like some more info, please get in touch. Its a wonderful venue, large rally field, right next to the canal with its museum, pubs & walks, & would be a shame if it had to be called off. Many Thanks Gary Rally Sec.
Unfortunately we have had to change the venue for this years Last fling rally. It was to be held at Hose Village Hall but a fire means we are no longer use the hall. The rally will now be held at Copt Oak Memorial Hall. Please contact the marshal or Rally Secretary for more details.
A huge Thank You goes to everyone who has volunteered to run a rally next year. We still have some which require Marshalls, including the Bank Holiday Rallies of Lawns Rally Site (Lincs) Easter, Stoke Bruerne (N'Hants) Mayday, & Ferry Meadows (P'Boro) Whit. We are also in need of a Marshall for a National Follow On, at Hatton Country World, (Warks) to take advantage of the National at nearby Ragley Hall. Bank Holiday Rallies are possibly easier than a weekend rally to run, due to the extra time, & it would be fantastic to have these great locations taken. If you require any more info on these, or any of the 2019 rallies, please don't hesitate to get in touch. Gary Brewin, Rally Sec.
Leics Centre will be hosting the intercentre fishing rally next year, at Jansons Fishery, Sept 6th - 8th. It would be great to have a full Leicestershire team,so anyone who fishes, used to fish, or would like to have a go, please get in touch. You don't have to fish to enjoy this rally, lovely venue, & social in the evening. Please see www.jansonfishery.co.uk for details of the site, & keep an eye on our web for more details. Gary Brewin, Rally Sec., & Fishing team captain.
October 13th to the 20th, half term, don't forget the rally at Woodthorpe Hall, Lincs. Lovely site with EHU, showers, bar, golf, fishing and garden centre all on site. Please see the rallies page for prices etc., or visit www.woodthorpeleisurepark.co.uk for details of the site. Gary Brewin, Rally Sec.
Don't forget if you can't make it to the rally launch at Ratcliffe College, you can let me know if you want to run a 2019 rally, & I can put your name next to it at 11am if not taken at the official launch at 10am. Please see www.southcliff.co.uk, www.bateman.co.uk, www.greenhillpark.com ,www.royaloakcarcolston.co.uk , www.brookmeadow.co.uk for details of the new venues. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you need any more information about the 2019 rally list. Gary Brewin, Rally Secretary.
The provisional 2019 rally list is now available in planner form. It can be viewed and downloaded via the downloads page. Please note: this is a provisional listing and may change at a later date
